Rent prices in the Pays de Gex in 2022
Is your rent in line with the average for your municipality?
To find out, you can now consult a "rent map", published on Monday 26 December on the website of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion.
It shows the price per m², including charges, throughout the country, for houses and apartments in the private rental stock.
In France, the monthly rent is on average 8.20 euros per m² for a house, against 9.38 euros for an apartment, according to estimates by the National Agency for Information on Housing (ANIL).
In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the communes of the Pays de Gex are among the most expensive due to their proximity to Switzerland.
